English: Sands north of Wells-next-the-Sea This photo, from the late sixties shows the extensive sandflats to the east of the tidal pool at Wells. In the left middle ground are sand dunes capped by a pine plantation. At the time, this was one of the few places in eastern England where you could find Red Squirrels. |
