Description
Català: Prop l’església de Sant Jaume hi ha situada l’antiga torre de Moja , de planta circular. D’aquesta construcció medieval ens cal esmentar el seu admirablement bon estat de conservació, que mai faria pensar que dati del segle X. Des de llavors ha tingut usos defensius, raó per la qual el poble s’erigeix al seu voltant. La primitiva torre de defensa era feta amb carreus de pedra petits i irregulars, col·locats en filades i units amb morter de calç, i arrebossats exteriorment. També hi trobem una finestra adovellada i merlets de maó. Les últimes mesures certifiquen que té un diàmetre intern de 515 cm i un gruix de parets de 185 cm, amb una alçada de 14 metres.
