English: Coal open-pit mine in Santa Lucía de Gordón (La Pola de Gordón, León, Spain)
Español: Corta Pastora, mina a cielo abierto en Santa Lucía de Gordón (La Pola de Gordón, León, España). En frente calizas bioclásticas y margas de las formaciones Moniello y Santa Lucía, del Devónico, pisos Emsiense (hace 407 ma) al Eifeliense (hace 393 ma). A la derecha se abre la cuenca carbonífera de Ciñera-Matallana y La Magdalena, con conglomerados, areniscas, lutitas y carbón, del Carbonífero, piso Kasimoviense (hace 307 ma). La foto se ha tomado sobre los materiales del Carbonífero Bashkiriense (hace 323 ma), al sur de la mina.
