Summary
editDescriptionSanta Pola 14.jpg | From the new district of Gran Alacant there is a narrow path down to Avenida Catalanet, from where you can enter the dunes and the beach "Arenales del Sol". It was a sunny day in January and we had the beach completely for ourselves. We watched the water birds catching fish and enjoyed the warmth of the sun. Walking to Santa Pola, we passed by a small gypsy style village. In Santa Pola we visited the harbour, while all the fishermen were coming back and were cleaning their boats. In the old fortress are two small museums; we visited both of them. As it was getting dark, the market hall was still open so we bought some fresh fruits. |
