Español: El lienzo, inspirado en una leyenda altomedieval, muestra al apóstol Santiago el Mayor combatiendo a favor de las tropas leonesas en la legendaria batalla de Clavijo, donde los musulmanes habrían sido derrotados por los cristianos. Esta obra procede del monasterio de San Jerónimo de Valparaíso, situado en las inmediaciones de la ciudad de Córdoba y desamortizado en 1835.
