Description

NAVFAC Pacific Commander Rear Adm. Bret J. Muilenburg congratulated the first NAVFAC Pacific Emerging Leader Program (ELP) graduates Apr. 30 at its headquarters. (L-R) Sara Kawashima, Steve Darby, Gordon Li, Muilenburg, Gregg Takashige, Matthew Wakabayashi, John Chan and Eric Koike received certificates and command coins for their hard work in completing the one-year career enhancement program for NAVFAC Pacific employees. The 2013 ELP Cadre held 20 group meetings that included presentations and guest speaker from various command business lines. They also had a leadership session with Rear Adm. Kate Gregory, NAVFAC commander, as well as a senior executive service session with Steve Iselin, NAVFAC executive director and Mitch Fulton, NAVFAC comptroller. There were also tours held for the cadre which included a NAVFAC Hawaii tour and the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command Tour. Not pictured - Todd Walerak.
