BERCER LE TEMPS Sarah Dell’Ava, IIya Krouglikov et Wolfram Sander Douce immersion dans l’univers des berceuses, BERCER LE TEMPS invite à un voyage à bord d’une chaise berçante. Posée en pleine ville, l’installation accueille les visiteurs dans un espace-temps suspendu en contraste avec l’agitation urbaine. Pieds dans l’herbe, au rythme du balancement, chacun peut se laisser emporter par les échos de l’enfance à travers des chants du monde entier. Rituel d’apaisement et de consolation, chant d’amour et de tendresse, la berceuse accueille, rassure et guide vers la nuit. Au seuil du sommeil, elle emprunte différentes formes, du chant ancestral à la chanson populaire, de la comptine au murmure incantatoire. La berceuse est transmise en secret et souvent oubliée. Notre collection révèle ainsi des trésors aux couleurs du Montréal cosmopolite glanés dans toute la ville, puisant aux traditions québécoise, allemande, congolaise, française, japonaise, iranienne, iroquoise, russe, vénézuélienne, etc. Pendant les heures d’ouverture de l’installation, chaque visiteur qui le souhaite pourra aussi participer à cette collecte de berceuses lors d’une courte séance d’enregistrement; un acte de partage qui livre au grand jour une précieuse intimité. Le chant est remis en circulation et nourrit une archive vivante, un véritable patrimoine collectif.
