Description
Français : Sarcophage romain datant de 225 av. J.-C. conservé au musée de l'Alcázar de Cordoue, en Espagne. Découvert en 1958 à Cordoue, dans le jardin de San Rafael del Brillante. Détail de la large frise sculptée ornant le grand côté du sarcophage. Cette partie montre l'époux, propriétaire ou père de famille, qui se tient debout au premier plan, tenant un rouleau de papyrus dénotant son niveau d'éducation. Il est accompagné par un homme barbu, un maître, un pédagogue ou un philosophe qui le conseille et lui indique la voie à suivre (pour atteindre la sagesse).
