Savile arms, quarterly of 16, detail from monument to Richard Corbet (died 1566), St Bartholomew's Church, Moreton Corbet, Shropshire. Richard Corbet (c.1512–1566) of Moreton Corbet, MP for Shropshire in 1558 and 1563, married Margaret Savile, a daughter of Sir John Savile of Thornhill, Yorkshire and widow of Thomas Wortley (d.1545) of Wortley.     • 10: Royal arms of England (France modern) within a bordure compony argent and azure, royal arms of w:Edmund Beaufort, 2nd Duke of Somerset. Sir William Paston (1436-1496) (the 4th son of William Paston (1378–1444), Justice of the Common Pleas (only son of Clement Paston and Beatrice Somerton), by his wife Agnes Barry) married Lady Anne Beaufort (1435-1496), a daughter of Edmund Beaufort, 2nd Duke of Somerset (1406-1455). His only son William Paston died without issue leaving his two sisters as co-heiresses: Anne Paston, who married Sir Gilbert Talbot of Grafton, Worcestershire; and Elizabeth Paston, who married Sir John Savile of Thornhill, Yorkshire. Sir John Savile left one son (Sir Henry Savile) and three daughters, Anne Savile, Elizabeth Savile and Margaret Savile, wife of Richard Corbet.
