Bahasa Indonesia: Taman Nasional Bantimurung-Bulusaraung merupakan taman nasional yang membentang di dua kabupaten sekaligus, yakni Kabupaten Maros dan Kabupaten Pangkep. Taman nasional ini memiliki kekhasan berupa ekosistem karst. Karst dikenal sebagai penyimpan cadangan air yang baik bagi alam. di desa-desa yang berada di kawasan Taman Nasional ini, memanfaatkan area-area landai sebagai area persawahan dengan pengairan yang berasal dari sungai-sungai yang mengalir dari kawasan karst. salah satunya persawahan yang ada di Desa Kalabbirang ini
English: Bantimurung-Bulusaraung National Park is a national park that stretches across two regency at once, namely Maros Regency and Pangkep Regency. This national park has a unique form of karst ecosystem. Karst is known as a good water reserves for nature. In some villages in the National Park area, the inhabitant utilize sloping areas as rice fields with irrigation from rivers flowing from the karst area. One of them is rice fields in Kalabbirang Village
