English: The Scaly-breasted lorikeet, (Trichoglossus chlorolepidotus), is ubiquitous in 7th Brigade Park, Chermside, though in much lower numbers than the Rainbow lorikeet. It feeds on nectar from the flowers of Eucalyptus species, Corymbia species, Erythrina crista-galli and Melaleuca species and seeks nest hollows in veteran Eucalyptus and Corymbia species.
