Glazed steatite scarab, base chipped, very little glaze remaining. On the base, the cartouche of king Ramses II.

19th Dynasty 0.9 x 1.8 x 1.4 Sesebi, Sudan Acquisition: Egypt Exploration Fund (Donation, 1936-1937)

Excavation by Alyward M. Blackman and Herbert Walter Fairman with the Egypt Exploration Society 1936-37. The preliminary report was published in 1938 but a final report was never completed.
