Dieses Gemälde (von Theatermaler Christian Jank) zeigt das Märchenschloss, das König Ludwig II. von Bayern noch 3 Jahre vor seinem Tod bei Pfronten plante (1883).

Die Ausführung wurde bereits begonnen, nach dem Tode Ludwigs jedoch wieder eingestellt.
