Deutsch: Zeichnung eines Mr. Lucas (vgl. Robert H. Schmidt: Eine Jagd- und Schlösser-Reise durch Lothringen, in die Saargegend und die Westpfalz im Jahre 1802 - Reisebericht von Colonel Thomas Thornton, hrsg. von Historischer Verein Neunkirchen, 2012), der den in Paris verbliebenen Joshua Bryant aus der Reisegesellschaft von Col. Thomas Thornton beim Besuch der Saargegend vertrat (S. 139). Der Stich selbst stammt von Jacques-François II (James) Mérigot. Die Darstellung trägt am unteren Rand die Signaturen und Abbreviaturen Bryant, del. (für delineavit) und Merigot, sc. (für sculpsit). Aus "A Sporting Tour Through Various Parts Of France In The Year 1802" by Colonel Thomas Thornton (Vol. II) erschienen 1806. |
