In: Joseph von Laßberg. Liedersaal. In Band 1 (1820) und Band 2 (1822) je vor Titelblatt Das Schlossgut Eppishausen im Thurgau, 1812 von Laßberg gekauft, wurde für ein Vierteljahrhundert Laßbergs Zuhause. Auch als Zufluchtsort für die Fürstin Elisabeth zu Fürstenberg (1767-1822) gedacht, wurde Eppishausen mit ihren Mitteln renoviert. Das finanzielle und geistige Mäzenatentum seiner Lebensgefährtin Elisabeth ließ Laßbergs Bibliothek und Sammlungen erheblich anwachsen. Auch die ersten Jahre mit seiner zweiten Frau Jenny (1795-1859), die Geburt der Zwillinge Hildegard und Hildegunde (1836), die Besuche seiner Schwägerin Annette von Droste-Hülshoff (1797-1848) und deren Mutter erlebte Eppishausen. |
