Deutsch: K. Zeilinger das Schmiedemuseum ist eine echte Rarität in Himmelberg Kärnten, Österreich.

Schon zu Maria Theresias Zeiten schwangen hier die stolzen Hammerherren Ihre Hämmer. Über Jahrhunderte war Himmelberg bekannt für seine drei großen Sensen-Schmieden. Von hier aus gingen Sensen in ganze Welt. Bis zu 35.000 Stück pro Jahr wurden im 19. Jahrhundert in Handarbeit produziert. "Bei 13 gleichzeitig von der Tiebel betriebenen Hämmern war es für die Schmiede eine sehr laute Arbeit". "Außer Watte gab es keinerlei Ohrenschutz für die Männer." Doch die Sensenarbeit durch Kohlbuben und Meister an der Esse gehört längst Vergangenheit an.

Heute betreibt die Firma Karl Zeilinger GmbH. eine Produktion für Metallwaren und Fussmatten.
