Magyar: Schmitt Pál előadása - A politika szerepe az olimpiai mozgalomban. A felvétel 2016. november 28-án, hétfőn készült a Felsőházban, Budapesten, a VERITAS Történetkutató Intézet konferenciáján. Hatvan évvel ezelőtt Svájc, Spanyolország és Hollandia nem vett részt az Ausztráliában rendezett olimpiai játékokon, tiltakozva a Szovjetunió magyarországi intervenciója ellen. Az évforduló alkalmából Kövér László, az Országgyűlés elnöke emlékplakettet adományozott e három országnak a bátor kiállásért Őexcellenciája José Ángel López Jorrin rendkívüli és meghatalmazott spanyol nagykövet és Urs Brönnimann svájci követtanácsos is itt volt. A konferenciia előadói az 1956-os magyarországi forradalom és szabadságharc, valamint az ugyancsak 1956-ban megrendezett melbourne-i olimpia összefüggéseivel foglalkoznak. Szakály Sándor, Dr. Kiss Dávid, Dr. Szabó Lajos, Dr. Rácz János, Gulyás Gergely, Urs Brönnimann svájci követtanácsos, Schmitt Pál volt köztársasági elnök, a Nemzetközi Olimpiai Bizottság tagja, Balog Zoltán.
