Description
English: John Rogers Maxwell's schooner Emerald (Henry C. Wintringham design, built in 1893 at the Samuel L Moore Sons shipyard, Elizabethport) and William Gould Brokaw's schooner Amorita (Archibald Cary Smith design, built in 1895 at the Harlan & Hollingsworth shipyard, Wilminton). They are pictured racing for the Larchmont Yacht Club's spring regatta, which was narrowly won by the Emerald over the Colonia and the Amorita
