| Description |
English: Scrap piles, Queen's Quay, Belfast In common with all trade the export of scrap from Queens Quay (there was more than one merchant) varied according to price and demand. My memory and note book suggest that 3-4 coasters each month was more or less the norm. The pile of scrap by the quayside (already sorted) could reach quite a height and was not a very attractive sight on the site. This is the view along the quay from the flyover. A Kellys coaster is discharging a cargo of coal at middle right. |
