English: Scrapyard This scrapyard used to be a ship breakers; many well known ships including The Mauretania in 1965, and The Olympic in 1935, ended their days here. The machinery in the picture crushes and shreds scrap metal, mostly cars, which is then loaded on to a ship to the right of the red crane. The path on the left is The Fife Coastal Path.312559 |
