Summary

Description
English: Photo of the section of cox to determine its microstructure. 10-fold increase in the polarizing light. Visible areas with a strong anisotropic structures (light on the left side), and sites with isotropic structures (occupies the main area of the visual field). Three dark round shape area represent of the pores in the cox grain. In general, all characteristic is the typical sample of cox transition structure, except that the shape and arrangement of pores evoke associations with the famous and often parodied picture of Edvard Munch's "The Scream". But, unlike the parody created by man, this paraphrase, although prepared by scientists developed technology of artificial carbon materials, is nevertheless the result of nature.
