Description
Français : 9e arrondissement de Paris. La sculpture animalière en bronze intitulée Aigle et vautour se disputant un ours mort, réalisée par Auguste Cain. Offerte en 1895 par la famille de l’artiste à la ville de Paris, elle est placée dans le square Montholon. En 1942, elle est déboulonnée, puis expédiée et fondue dans le cadre de la mobilisation des métaux non ferreux.
