Description
Français : Les alignements encore visibles, des saules taillés en têtards, retracent l’histoire du paysage rural alsacien le long des cours d'eau et des prairies inondables. Les cavités crées au fil du temps accueillent une faune diverse mais aussi toute une flore. Lors des inondations le têtard freine l'écoulement de l'eau, s'y déposent alors feuilles mortes, algues, herbes, limon dans lesquels des graines vont germer une fois l'eau retirée : plantes herbacées, arbustes et même... d’autres arbres . Ici un Fraxinus excelsior . on ne sait plus si c'est le saule ou le frêne qui maintient têtard en vie.
