Se-tenant with stamps of the German Democratic Republic; 1989; commemorative se-tenant of the issue "100 years Carl-Zeiss-Foundation in Jena"; issue of 1 se-tenant à 3 stamps ( 2 postal valid stamps and 1 decorative intermediate field without nominal value); The stamp motives are: left (50 (Pfennig): Interference microscope "JENAVAL interphako" + decorative intermediate field with a portrait of Ernst Abbe (1840-1905, narrow co-worker of Carl Zeiss) over an inscription (without nominal value) + right (85 Pfennig): Twice-coordinates-gauge "ZKM 01-250C"; This se-tenant was postmarked with an one-line circle-segment first-day special cancellation with 35.0 mm width and 40.0 mm high from 1085 Berlin, showing the logo of the enterprise "Carl-Zeiss, Jena" over inscription as central motive
