Description
English: Sea cliff at South Stack. The photo was taken from South Stack itself, looking across the narrow channel separating the stack from Holy Island. The rocks are pre-Cambrian Greywackes and are approx 600 million years old. The rocks have been contorted and twisted by high pressure and temperature in the earth's crust.
