Description
English: Cassier's Magazine of April 1892 had an article on page 429-438, about Electrical Equipment of Modern Warships. It was accompanied a number of illustrations, including this on page 437, showing a 75 cm searchlight, produced by the Thomson-Houston Electric Company. Six of these were installed on the armoured cruiser USS New York.
