Description
English: Seat on Black Hill, Malvern Hills The Malvern Hills, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1959, are approximately fifteen kilometres in length. The soil on the top of the ridge is thin, supporting little more than a few grasses as illustrated here on the climb up Black Hill. To the right, a fence keeps walkers away from the edge of the disused quarry below.
