Summary edit

Description

Entrance of the Maynard Building, 119 First Avenue South in the Pioneer Square neighborhood, Seattle, Washington.

The building was originally (1892) the Dexter Horton Building (a name that was later preempted by a 1920s office building a few blocks away), home to the Dexter Horton Bank, one of the banks that eventually merged to form Seattle First National Bank (Seafirst), and were eventually absorbed into the Bank of America.

See Summary for 119 1st AVE / Parcel ID 5247800035, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, for more discussion of the building. This is the same building, even though they accidentally omitted "South" from the address.
