Description
English: Selling of the dried fish at the sea front in Lamu Island. Fish are obtained from deep waters as well as shallow waters along the Indian ocean using different fishing methods. Fresh fish are taken direct to the market soon after being harvested. Dried fish are preserved to make them last longer and for further transportation to far away market.

This kind of fish are salted and dried before being transported to the Market.

Kiswahili: Ng'onda ni samaki aliyekaushwa kwa jua, kuna aina nyingi za Ng'onda kama Ng'onda wa papa, Kipungu, Shepwa, Pando na kadhalika. Ng'onda hutumika kama kitoweo cha kulia wali na Ugali. Sana sana ni kitoweo cha watu wa Pwani
