Description

BIE - Banco de Imagens Externas - Visitas guiadas de servidores ao Jardim Botânico de Brasília, numa homenagem ao Dia Nacional do Cerrado, comemorado em 11 de setembro.

O Jardim Botânico de Brasília é uma Unidade de Conservação da natureza ligada à Secretaria de Meio Ambiente e Recursos Hídricos do Governo do Distrito Federal.

Localizado no Lago Sul - Setor de Mansões Dom Bosco, conjunto 12, tem 500 hectares de área destinada a visitação publica, abrangendo varias fitofisionomias de cerrado, totalizando 80% de vegetação nativa em excelente estado de conservação (coleção in situ), além de jardins temáticos como o Jardim evolutivo, Jardins de cheiros, jardim japonês e jardins de contemplação, espaços infantis, instalações para o atendimento ao visitante e 4.500 hectares de Reserva Ecológica destinada à pesquisa e preservação do Cerrado.
