Polski: Gmach został zbudowany w latach 80. XIX wieku na potrzeby urzędów państwowych (m.in. Regierung i Oberpräsidium) przy ulicy Neugarten 12-16. W okresie Wolnego Miasta Gdańska mieścił się w nim Senat WMG. Po wojne uszkodzony budynek został rozebrany. Obecnie na jego miejscu znajduje się gdański Urząd Miejski i fragment ulicy 3-go Maja (cała szerokość tej ulicy).
