Description
English: These extraordinary buildings are to be seen at Mahabilipuram, 35 miles south of the city of Madras. The first temple in the picture is that of Draupadi, and is the smallest, being only 11 feet square and 18 feet high. West of this stands the huge figure of a lion, carved out of a single block of stone.
