English: Shelter from the Storm First night on a Plas Menai Sea kayaking expedition round Mull, we had been battered by strong winds and fought with steep waves most of the day, so this shelter was a welcome relief when we landed in a cove on the north side of Ulva. It kept the wind and the rain off enough that I was able to get a fire going from the dry centres of soaking birch branches which made camping here a luxury rather than a trial ! |
