The interior of the Shepherd Wheel Workshop, within a building that dates from c1780. Although the workshop itself contains a waterwheel and working machinery used for knife-grinding; the workshop was active up to the 1930s. The workshop is powered by a dam situated on the Porter Brook, to the southwest of Sheffield; it has been restored and is now a working museum open to the public all year round.
