Description
English: The Shrine of Miosach (also known as The Misach, Irish: Míosach is an Irish Cumdach (book shrine) discovered in Clonmany, County Donegal in the mid-18th century. It was built in the late 11th century, and was heavily refurbished in 1534 with a frontpiece and side-plates adorned with metalwork reliefs of saints, including a large depiction of the crucified Christ and the Virgin and Child.
