Description
English: Shropshire Union Canal - old railway crossing About two miles north of Audlem the canal was crossed by the former Great Western Railway line between Market Drayton and Nantwich, opened in 1863 and closed in 1963. The station at Audlem was immortalised in the song "Slow Train" by Flanders and Swann. Coole Lane Bridge is about 250 metres ahead.
