Summary edit

Description
English: Shropshire Union Canal at Stretton, Staffordshire. The cast iron aqueduct was built by Sir Thomas Telford in 1832. It carries the canal across Watling Street, formerly a Roman Road, later the very busy A5, but now less so since the advent of motorways. A small boatyard thrives on the left beyond the aqueduct. 1333900
