English: Shropshire Union Canal at Wheaton Aston, Staffordshire. The visitor moorings shown here are good at Wheaton Aston. There are more south of Tavern Bridge (from where this image was taken) all the way to the lock. A boaters' sanitary station is also provided - and then there's the pub serving good food and real ales! Careful examination of the picture reveals that it was raining when I took it. |
