| Description |
English: Shropshire Union Canal at Wheaton Aston, Staffordshire. The visitor moorings on the right are good at Wheaton Aston. There are more south of Tavern Bridge (from where this image was taken) all the way to the lock. A boaters' sanitary station is also provided - and then there's the pub serving good food and real ales! On the left is the small low wharf where, for many years, boats have refuelled with the cheapest red diesel for many a mile. |
