Summary

edit
Description In this atmospheric shot of the main church hall (the sanctum sanctorum is now to my right) I have tried to capture the sombre mood of the faithful attending mass in the Baclayon church. Though I should not be bragging about my own photography, I mud admit I love the play of shadow and light in this photograph. Observe the various types of lights coming in: light from open rear door streaming in (left), light fromthe open window and from stained glass windows above, and of course electric lights. Straight ahead embedded into the wall is a statue of Mary with the infant Jesus. The small door next to the statue leads to the baptistry. (Bohol- Tagbilaran, Philippines, May 2013)
