Description Sigismund Aronson of the Schwabacher Hardware Co. and Schwabacher Brothers, Seattle, Washington. In the late 19th and early 20th century, Schwabacher Brothers were Seattle's (and the regions) leading wholesale grocers of the time; they also owned a wharf and one of the city's most prominent hardware stores. Aronson was also president of Seattle's first Jewish congregation, Ohaveth Sholum.
