I needed to live in a place that is dominated by the sound of nature and the stream with water rushing down rather than an area dominated by the sound of cars rushing down the M4, (UK). I used to be able to hear the M4 from my house and now I hear the hum of water from my house instead of cars. I changed my house and the energy of what I was living with. I’ve never lived in a city, I’ve always needed to be able able to move out into the countryside and wander along rivers. In a way this has been a regression back to my childhood, to play with water and watch how water sculpts the land and erodes away any attempts by man to control it. I can create a path or track and over the course of a season I can see the water slowly eat away at the shape of the path and it is amazing to watch nature, so closely, it’s real medicine for my soul being here."
