Description
English: All across the country one can buy a special soap, made of bıttım. Often spelled as "bittim". The bıttım sabunu is a specialty of Siirt, and not surprisingly there is a kind of statue for it at the Valilik. In Turkey, it is known as menengiç or bıttım. The scientific name is Pistacia terebinthus.
