Description Native, cool season, annual, erect, single-several-stemmed, sparsely hairy herb 1.5–5 cm tall. Leaves are opposite at base, alternate above, linear-lanceolate and 3–10 mm long x 0.5–1 mm wide. Heads are sessile in clusters subtended by clusters of leaves; individual heads ± globose, 2–4 mm diam. Florets number about 25 in terminal heads, fewer in lateral ones, corolla is white. Flowering is in late winter to spring. Grows mostly in damp sites - these samples at Albury.
