| Description |
English: Silt trap above Ogden reservoir. One of the small dams that were often built on the streams feeding a larger reservoir, to settle out silt and therefore reduce the rate at which the main reservoir would silt up. Alas, in recent decades the task of cleaning them out has been neglected. Even in 1987 this one only had a small amount of water in it. Comparing it with 366377, taken 20 years later, it is clear that this dam has now silted up completely and serves no practical purpose. |
