Summary

Description
English: Ruined tower of the former parish church of All Saints, Silverley, Cambridgeshire, at the site of a deserted village about a mile south of Ashley.

Silverley had a church by 1254. By the 16th century the settlement had contracted northward and the church had fallen out of use.
Accounts and sketches from 1752 show the church derelict, with only the tower and a few scattered ruins surviving. In 1845 a new church was built in Ashley, and the churchyard at Silverley was planted with trees.

The tower is of three stages and was built in the second half of the 14th century. The outline of the rest of the church survives as a low bank east of the tower.
