Description
English: Today, crew of Verkhoturye strategic missile submarine cruiser of the Northern Fleet under command of Captain I rank Dmitry Zelikov successfully launched the Sineva intercontinental ballistic missile from the Barents Sea area on the Kura range located on Kamchatka.

The launch was performed from the submerged submarine. According to the objective monitoring data, the warhead was delivered to the Kura range on Kamchatka.

The crew demonstrated its professional skills during preparation activities and the missile launch.

The Sineva launch was carried out in the course failsafety inspection of the Strategic Nuclear Deterrence System. This was the 27th successful ballistic missile launch from the board of Verkhoturye strategic missile submarine cruiser.
