English: Tomb & monument in black marble & alabaster, to Sir Francis Vere, died 1609, in the chapel of St John the Evangelist in Westminster Abbey, London. Monument has a statue of Vere lying beneath a slab held aloft by four kneeling knights on which his suit of armour is laid out. Attributed to the sculptor Isaac James
