Description
Deutsch: Das Denkmal für die Bombenopfer an der Ecke Alter Teichweg / Lothringer Straße wurde von der Allgemeinen Deutschen Schiffszimmerer-Genossenschaft beim Wiederaufbau des kriegszerstörten Wohnblocks 1950 aus Anlaß des 75-jährigen Bestehens der Genossenschaft gestiftet. Es erinnert die vielen Toten und großen Schäden, die der Bombenkrieg in Hamburg hinterließ. Zwischen der Figur der Mutter mit ihren Kindern und dem Relief an der Hauswand steht diese gemauerte Sitzbank mit dem Hinweis auf das Jubiläum der Genossenschaft.
