In Braun die älteren Gebäudeteile: Erasmusbau im Süden, Friedrichsbau im Westen, beide mit hofseitigen Eingangstreppentürmen. Zwischen ihnen der Verbindungsbau. Türme in West, Nord und Ost. Wehrgang in Ostsüdost. In dunklem Grün weitere Mauern: Im Nordosten Stützmauer gegen die Bühlertalaue, am Turm in Osten beginnend der Grabenmauerzug, der sich, unterbrochen von einer bloßen Böschung gegen Südwest, bis zu einem Rest vor dem Westturm fortsetzt. Das anschließende, hellgrün gezeichnete Stück existiert heute nicht mehr. Im Südosten Zwingermauer. Im Norden die Stützmauer gegen das Ebbachtal. Beiden Stützmauern sind, hellgelb gezeichnet, in manchen Partien keilförmig sich nach oben verschmälernde Stützstreben vorgesetzt. In hellem Blau ein Brunnen aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und eine die ursprüngliche Zugbrücke ersetzende Steinbrücke. In Dunkelblau die Teile aus neuerer Zeit: Flügel am Nordturm, Fußgänger-Steinbrücke zum Garten, Aufzugsvorbau am Zwischenflügelgraben. Im Südwesten des Schlosskomplexes in Grau die hier beginnende Abbruchkante eines alten Steinbruches im Hauptsandstein des Lettenkeupers.
